Risti earned her Bachelor's degree in General Communication, with a concentration in Broadcasting, from Universitas Indonesia, and later completed her Master’s degree in Film and Media, specializing in Writing for Film and Television, at Johns Hopkins University. Over the past decade, she has worked extensively in audiovisual media, including music videos, corporate productions, television programs, and short films. Her professional background spans roles as a creative producer at a digital media agency, a creative staff member at a television company, and a freelance director and scriptwriter. Beyond her professional work, she occasionally leads workshops and speaks at media-related seminars. She firmly believes that audiovisual media—whether on social platforms or in cinema—plays a pivotal role in shaping society's values and morals.
